Price: £180 for the complete six-week course.
The course is booked as a six-week programme. Individual classes cannot be booked separately.
This six-week course is designed for adult ballet dancers who want to develop their technique in a small, focused group. Each week explores a different aspect of ballet technique, from adage and pirouettes to petit and grand allegro, while you also learn a choreography, tailored to the group over the six weeks.
The small group of a maximum of seven students allows exercises to be adapted to different levels and for each dancer to receive individual attention.

The programme
Week 1 — Adage
Developing control, balance, extension and coordination through slow, sustained movements.
Week 2 — Centre Combination
A longer centre combination bringing together different elements of ballet technique.
Week 3 — Pirouettes
Working on preparation, coordination, spotting and control in turns.
Week 4 — Travelling Steps
Exploring travelling movements, including coordination, direction and use of space.
Week 5 — Petit Allegro
Developing quick footwork, coordination and precision in small jumps.
Week 6 — Grand Allegro
Understanding and working on the technique of a large jump.
Plus: choreography
Alongside the weekly technique focus, you will learn a choreography created for you over the six weeks.
The choreography will develop gradually, giving you the opportunity to work on movement quality, musicality, memory and performance within the group.

Holistic Ballet does not offer credits, refunds or discounts for individual classes that you are unable to attend.
