How To Train When Injured

Despite trying our best to prevent it, we cannot always avoid getting injured. It does not necessarily need to happen in ballet class. The home is the most dangerous place, apparently.

Often, we can continue to train or restart during the recovery process with some modifications to movement and posture.

The class is very informative and kept relatively simple.

I do not advocate working through or ignoring pain. Do get advice from your doctor whether you can or cannot attend class.

Help With Knee Pain

Many experience(d) problems with their knees. Not being able to use one's knee causes the most severe restrictions as without a plié you basically cannot dance.

This class shows you effective exercises to strengthen the knee and the surrounding joints and muscle groups to help heal and prevent (recurring) knee problems.
