Beginner to Intermediate Ballet Bridge Course with Holistic Ballet

If you have attended beginner ballet classes for some time and would like to progress to the intermediate level but find the gap between the two too big, then this course is for you. With a maximum of 6 students, you are guaranteed individual attention and you will be able to progress much faster than in a regular ballet class.
To facilitate your improvement you are also going to receive a recorded version of each class at no extra cost, for you to study at home in between lessons and to continue your practice after the course has finished.
This ballet course is suitable for students that are familiar with:
the five arm and feet positions
battements tendus and dégagés
ronds de jambe à terre
temps sautés, changements and échappés
You will learn many of the important steps necessary to follow intermediate ballet classes in a
well-structured format, which each class designed to progress from the previous one, with clearly
set goals for each week.
What you will learn in this course:
how to position yourself in the studio (épaulement, croisé, éffacé)
the main poses (devant, derriér, écarté, arabesques)
pirouettes en dehors and en dedans
pas de bourrées
glissade-assemblés and jetés
sissonnes ouvert and fermé
grands jetés and entre lacés
The course programme adheres to the Key Principles of Holistic Ballet, movements are explained in great details and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions that may arise.
Further to the class videos, participants get access to the course material to revise and continue to study the exercises of each class and to become more familiar with the French ballet terms.
