About The Workshop
This year, I decided to work with you on the Waltz of The Snowflakes from The Nutcracker.
I am choosing the Mariinsky Ballet version as it is the one I danced in the first year of my professional career with the State Opera Berlin (today's Staatsballett Berlin).
Watch the piece by copying & pasting this link youtu.be/6WkXKlbK4OQ into your browser.
We will modify the choreography to our needs.

What To Expect
One week of intense rehearsal atmosphere, not unlike a real ballet company's, with like-minded, passionate adult dancers.
The first one or two days tend to feel a bit chaotic but you will be surprised how everyone's confusions transform into more organised forms as the week progresses.
Everyone will be responsible for creating a kind and supportive environment to allow you, the corps de ballet, to work 'as one', in harmony. Each dancer is only as good as the rest of the corps!
You can wear flat or pointe shoes. You can also wear a tutu or skirt, depending on the piece.
How You Will Learn
Step 1: the choreography (the more advanced students helping to lead the beginner level ones)
Step 2: details of the leg, arm, and head movements and positions
Step 3: adding artistic expression, how to pace yourself and how to project to the audience
For you to get the most out of the intensive, you will receive a pre-study video link.
Once you booked, please email me to get the password.
The video proved to be extremely helpful not only as preparation but also as a recap tool during and after the workshop.
If you are unsure whether this workshop is suitable for you, please do not hesitate to email or phone me so we can discuss it.
